September 3, 2008-
NBC 15 sent Mike Rush to speak to Erin Akey while she and her husband Ben were organizing the first relief mission for Eyeofthestormrelief.org. This was the trip to Houma and Bayou Dularge, La after Hurricane Gustav. This was where it all began!
